Bree gave birth to five puppies during the day on Christmas Eve day. All pups are very dark with limited white. They are doing well, Bree is a good mother and I have to do very little at this stage other than feed and water Bree. The pups are in the mud room in a crate so the kids can play with them daily too. There are three females and two males. They are priced at $400 each, call me at (712)621-1912 or email jmundorf@netins.net to reserve your pup. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page to read a detailed description of Bree and LImbo and some info on what I expect this cross to produce. I will continue to post pictures as they develop and grow.

Bree has been bred to Limbo and is due to whelp in mid-December.
I have contemplated this pairing since I acquired Limbo a few years ago. I have been so happy with what Limbo has produced for me I decided to go ahead and make thIs cross and I really think some great dogs should come from it.
Bree brings to the cross her eye, power, pace and bite. Bree's most exemplary quality is the ability to move any kind of stock without a fuss. She has the ability to negotiate with stock and her stock trusts her. She can be tricky to handle and likes to understand the job she is about. She is not a push button willing to do whatever just because the human says so dog. She does things at her own pace. But I always take her to gather cattle because she never quits and always keeps the cattle moving.
Bree has produced a couple of nice litters of pups that have gone all over the USA and have done well. She is a consistent producer of dogs who have good bite, push, balance, and feel. I trained two of the pups out of her half sibling Star and both Penny and Red are making very good dogs. Bree is a better individual worker than Star, and has produced more consistent pups as well. Bree is strongly linebred to McCallum dogs and Alexander's Griz.
Limbo brings power, push, eye, and a fearless head bite to the cross. He has a natural wide outrun and spots stock from a long way off. He originated from the Lock-eye kennel in Oklahoma and is linebred to dogs that come from Larry Vashus in Colorado and an imported dog that was owned by Tony Diaz in California. The thing that I have seen that sets his pups apart is their toughness on a head and their ability to push their stock with their eye. The all are really athletic fast dogs who are willing to listen but their toughness and push are what I like best about them. Oscar and Penny are the two that we still own and they are coming into everything that we were hoping they would. Penny is the one that is closest related to the upcoming pups.
I expect the litter resulting from this cross to be athletic dogs who can move all kinds of stock with strong eye and plenty of push, and can back up their push with toughness and bite. I expect mostly smooth coated dogs, and I have no idea if we will get any red pups out of the cross or not. I expect them to show a lot of initiative but require a lot of firm guidance early on. Both Oscar and Penny have been this way but once you get them to partner up they give you everything they have and you have a lot of dog at your disposal.
